Franklin Roosevelt was born in Hyde Park, New York on 30th January, 1882.
He became the president of the United States of America on March 4, 1933.
He was very ill during the conference. Roosevelt did not even want to go to Tehran for the conference. He would have preferred for the conference to be closer to America so he would not have to fly on a plane for so long, planes were not as comfortable then as they are now. When Stalin and Churchill argued about plans, Roosevelt tended to side with Stalin.
"President Roosevelt favored the concept of holding war criminals accountable for their actions but still disapproved Churchill's preference for summarily executing the chief Nazi war criminals."
