Joseph Stalin was born in Gori,  Georgia, on Dec. 21, 1879.
Stalin was elected General Secretary of the Party in 1922, and  no one realized how dangerous he was at this time.
Stalin was a big part of the Tehran conference. He chose the location of the conference and made sure it was at the Soviet Consulate at Tehran."Stalin used Roosevelt's weak health and Britain's declining power to dominate the conference and achieve all of his goals." He invited President Roosevelt to stay at the Soviet Consulate, even if British Consulate was near by. Stalin picked the date of the conference, taking into consideration Churchill's birthday.
Stalin came to the conference very prepared. He had strong opinions to all items discussed.
During the conference, he made inflexible demands of his new  allies, Prime Minister Winston Churchill of Britain and President Franklin Roosevelt of the United States.
